Hourglass Review by Ana

Bianca will risk everything to be with Lucas.

After escaping from Evernight Academy, the vampire boarding school where they met, Bianca and Lucas take refuge with Black Cross, a fanatical group of vampire hunters. Bianca must hide her supernatural heritage or risk certain death at their hands. But when Black Cross captures her friend—the vampire Balthazar—hiding is no longer an option.

Soon, Bianca and Lucas are on the run again, pursued not only by Black Cross, but by the powerful leaders of Evernight. Yet no matter how far they travel, Bianca can't escape her destiny.

Bianca has always believed their love could survive anything . . . but can it survive what's to come?

HOURGLASS is the third installment in the EVERNIGHT series and I was dying to read this book. After the cliffhanger in STARGAZER, I wanted to know what was going to happen, but I was disappointed with this one. The writing was good, but to seemed to take forever to get to the point and the book for me drug on.

Lucas and Bianca kind of annoyed me, especially Lucas as he was being not himself. He had totally changed up and Bianca kept on getting sick. But Charity was a good character to have in this book. She brought live energy and her evil nature made me worried and brought me back to the edge of my seat again.

Also seeing Balthazar coming again made me a very happy person! :)

I will be reading the four and final book in the series - AFTERLIFE.
